Three 'I's For Success in Life

Everybody likes success in their life. However, Success is not a fairy tale that revolves around the element of miracle and imagination. Rather, a person has to pass through the realities of life to understand what is success. As the two eyes are essential for biological life, there exist three 'I's which are indispensable for successful life. Certainly, the possession and employment of them ensure achievement and contentment of any individual. They also help to bring discipline and efficiency in all walks of our life. The three 'I's are discussed hereunder. Interest: A person should develop the interest in whatever he does. Else, not only the efforts and time spent will be in vain but breeds discontent among the surrounding people. In the same way, over-enthusiasm is also not preferred. Maintaining the interest in anything needs grit and tenacity of the person. Initiative forms the second step in reaching the desired target. Having interest alone does not suffice to get the result. One should take efforts to plan well and expend the resources, including the time and faith in others. Moreover, one must take new and consistent steps to overcome any foreseeable adversities. Remaining optimistic with a positive mindset tends to produce new ideas. Involvement. This is the crucial stage for guaranteeing success, and it refers to 'Staying alert and sticking to the set course of actions.' In case of any setback or deviation, there will not be any loss of interest or initiative. Rather, the determined mind keeps faith and moves ahead with confidence. Because Persistent efforts produce success ultimately. Simply having interest wouldn't yield results unless a person takes concerted efforts to stick to that and continue in that direction without any loss of focus. The effects of the three 'I's can be understood with an example. A gardener keeps working without bothering about who visits the garden and how much wages he gets. Because he has a deep interest and attachment to the task and takes all initiatives to grow all species of plants and trees. His involvement in the garden is immense that he never feels it as a work or duty but enjoys it. Naturally, the owner of the garden is not only bound to appreciate and reward his sincere servant but bears the responsibility to take care of the welfare of the gardener. Success by itself cannot be the life but sweetens the latter. Anything that helps in the spread of peace and happiness in the world amounts to success. he 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Success: Is Hunger An Important Part Of Success?

When it comes to achieving something significant, it is generally not going to happen overnight. There is the chance that it could take them a number of years, or even longer than this. The Starting Point But while one could be in a position where they have one thing that they would like to achieve, there could be more to it. For example, their whole life might not be going as they would like it to go. Therefore, just about everyone area of their life might need to be worked on, and this will give then plenty to do. Still, certain areas of their life might take less work than others, and so this might make it easier for them to handle. The Goal If one has one thing in mind that they really want to achieve, they might take the time to create a plan. This could then be a sign that they like to write things down, and that they don't start things without thinking about what steps they are going to take. At the same time, this might take place because they want to get off to the best start. The alternative might be for them to think about what they want to achieve and then to take action. Action Through taking this approach, it might allow them to move in the right direction faster than it would if they were to make a plan. However, there is also the chance that this could cause them to waste time. What this comes down to is that if they haven't thought about what they need to do, they could end up taking action just for the sake of it. Doing so can give them an internal rush, but it won't necessarily help them in the long run. Clarity On the other hand, if they have a clear idea about what they need to do, they might not need to make a plan; it could be as simple as taking the first step. This could all change if they were to get to a point where they are unsure about what they need to do next. And when it comes to someone who does make a plan, they could still end up changing it as time goes by. This will show that they have the ability to embrace new information, and this is going to be the sensible thing to do. Attached As if one has a fixed outlook on how they are going to achieve something, it could stop them from being able to achieve it. They will be facing one direction, and this will stop them from being able to see what is going on in another direction. It is then similar to how someone will need to take another route when a road is closed. If they don't take this route and insist on using the same road, they won't be going anywhere. Going With It When something happens and one is unable to move forward, it can be normal for them to believe that something bad has happened. Regardless of what has happened, it can cause them to wonder if they should keep going. If they were to dust themselves off and get back up, so to speak, they might soon find that they are able to keep moving. This doesn't mean that they will be back on the same track, as it could be as if they are on another track altogether. It Will Soon Be Clear But as one doesn't know everything, it is not always going to be possible for them to understand what is taking place. As times passes though, they might be able to look back on what took place and see why it had to happen. What this shows is that being open to new information is one part of the equation; another part is to be able to let go and to trust in what is taking place. To keep going during these moments will take resilience. Ups and Downs One way of looking at these setbacks, would be to say that they are there to see how badly one wants to achieve something. If they were to give up after the first hurdle, they might need to ask themselves if this is something that matters to them. In addition to this, the strength that one attains through overcome these challenges will prepare them for the next stage. One is then not just going to change once they have achieved something; they will change during each step of the way. The Power And what will allow them to get back up each time and to keep going when something doesn't go to plan will be the part of them that is not willing to give up. This part of them will serve the same function that an engine does in a car. Without this, the car is not going to be going anywhere, or if it does go somewhere, it will need to be pushed. What this empathises is how important this is when it comes to being successful. Hunger This force could be seen as something that doesn't just come from their mind, and that it is something that emanates from their whole being. Something within them is going to be pushing them forward and, for as long as this is there; they will continue to behave in the same way. Through having this drive within them, it won't matter if they don't know something, or if they are not the most intelligent person around. If one was extremely intelligent but didn't have the desire to a do anything, they are not going to get very far. Awareness It has been said that some people are born with an insatiable drive for success, and that what took place during someone's childhood years can also play a part. Nature and nurture are then at play here. If one finds that they don't have drive, it doesn't mean that they are someone who will never have it. It could show that it has been covered up by years of emotional pain, for instance, and this can be worked through with the assistance of a therapist. 7 Essential Qualities of All Great Leaders

Listen to Improve Your Performance

Think back to the last intense conversation you had with someone on a topic that ignites your passion. If you are like most people, you can clearly recall your arguments in response to what you perceived to be the positions of the other party. You are ready to deliver your arguments in quick succession to the next person who dares to challenge you point of view. The truth is you may not recall too much of what the other person actually said, or what they were trying to accomplish with the discussion. Too often, we listen to someone else in a conversation not to what is being said, but rather to when he or she stops talking. This pause is our cue to jump in and make a point that we have been pondering while they talked. We appear to be listening, nodding our heads at the right time and even making small vocal gestures, like 'uh huh' and this keeps the other person engaged in the conversation. After all, who wants to talk with someone who is simply not listening? Meanwhile, you are going through the motions, keeping them engaged by nodding and grunting just long enough to make sure your points have been expressed. Only then are you ready for the conversation to end. We act as if we are interested in learning something new, yet our behavior suggests the exact opposite. Ironically, if we took the time to listen, we would learn more and our views would be more valuable to the next person we meet. Perhaps we're afraid of being wrong, but that is not logical either. It would make sense to learn why you are wrong and correct your mistake and move forward without perpetuating your error. Then again, we may not be dealing with simple logic here. We may instead be dealing with avoiding the embarrassment of being proven wrong. This is similar to your thinking about managing mistakes at work. If someone makes a mistake and you immediately attack the person, you may also be suffering from fear that comes from personal pride, not logic or reason. On the other hand, if you treat every mistake as a learning opportunity, for the individual and for the business as a whole, then you will experience real growth in your business and personally. The problem often starts with being more intent on speaking than actually listening. Try to listen actively to the subject matter and intentions expressed in every conversation. Don't react to the emotions that may accompany the communication. Reacting with emotion only escalates the excitement and further muddies the communication. Instead, take the time to listen carefully and resist the urge to speak without first asking a series of clarifying questions. Even if you believe that you have the answer, take the time to let the other person know that you are listening and concerned about the topic. Repeat key points and rephrase them in your own words to let the speaker know that you have heard and understood what they are saying. Pause before answering. This not only gives you time to compose a well-considered response; it also elicits any additional information from the other party. Sometimes people hold back key bits of information, but that small awkward pause prompts them to blurt out something more. Very often, you will learn that the problem that originally began the conversation is not the real problem at all and your original assumption about the solution would have similarly missed the mark. Take a little time to listen better and you will improve your knowledge and your ability to communicate and lead. Patrick is a coach, speaker, and trainer to individuals and business leaders. THE MINDSET OF HIGH ACHIEVERS - Powerful Motivational Video for Success

Wealth Without a College Degree

The crave for paper qualification is causing more harm than good. Since our society has erroneously equated literacy to mere paper qualification or fluency in English language. Everyone regardless of their age, passion, purpose and ability wants to bag a degree from any educational institution. The society now respects paper qualification more than skill and competence. Only university graduates are regarded as literates. Consequently, university graduates pose as kings and queens because they have a paper qualification. They parade themselves as lords of the labour market because they attended the ivory tower. And the uninformed technician feels inferior because he has no degree. They become so intimidated that they abandon their profitable trade for mere paper qualification that will make them join the unemployment queue. We have also been brainwashed that the best path to achieve success or wealth is to attend a university, get a degree or diploma and get a job. Since a degree and not competence has become the yardstick for offer of employment in these parochial societies, everybody wants to have a certificate. Thus, most people go to college in order to acquire a degree which will be the basis for getting a good job and having a good pay check. Technical and vocational and entrepreneurial education has been relegated and trampled on. The society view vocational skilled laborers as the less privileged that were unable to pay university tuition fees. Parents are compounding the problem by forcing their wards to embark on professional career in higher institutions even when these kids are uninterested. Most parents want their children to have a good education and a secure future. They think that a good school will help their kids avoid financial challenges. They want their child to make it to the top of the food chain. Most parents dread the thought of their children toiling at menial jobs, being underemployed, earning low wages, paying higher and higher taxes, and battling inflation all their lives. The hope is that their kids will become doctors, lawyers, or CEO's. No parent wants his child to become a cook, mechanic, shoe maker, tailor, tiller, farmer, hair stylist, etc. We all want our kids to become university graduates even when we have observed that child will succeed more as a technical or vocational trainee or as an entrepreneur. Examination malpractice has skyrocketed because most students in conventional school are not meant to attend such schools. The problem is that none of those professions help them to be truly financially free. Truthfully, university and other higher institution graduates contribute the highest chunk to the pool of the unemployed. School does not make you successful because it does not teach you financial education. Talent and skill development, Technical and vocational education and entrepreneurship are the main drivers of any economy. A child that has learnt to read and right can achieve anything in life. Such child has the ability to learn anything on his own. Thus, the foundation of education is the primary and secondary school. It is therefore important that every child have access to at least basic education. Not everyone is destined to be a degree holder. If you join the crave for paper qualification whereas you are not destined to attend higher institution you will be doomed for life. Don't desire to be a university graduate out of frustration from societal pressure. Follow your passion and your heart, never follow the crowd. A degree can either be a stepping stone or a road block on the path to achievement. Today we have university graduate without proficiency. Their certificate has blocked their access to success. Instead of vigorously pursuing their passion which is their surest path to success, they are busy queuing in the unending line of unemployed job seekers. If education proves to be an obstacle, those with an entrepreneurial spirit will push it aside and go their own chosen route. Education is not acquiring certificate; neither is it by your fluent grammar. It is your ability to create something new and solve societal problems that makes you educated. Education is the acquisition of skills and knowledge through learning and personal experience and the ability to apply such knowledge to solve societal problems for the betterment of the society. Thus, if you cannot solve or satisfy the needs of the populace you are not educated. Education is not by certificate; it is having proofs. Your proof is not your certificate; neither is it by your fluent grammar. It is your ability to create something new and solve societal problems that makes you educated. Change your life and your society if you are educated. Stop showcasing your good certificate, show us a proof. If your tailor can make you give a cloth design that make you look good, he has solved a problem, hence he is highly educated. When that so- called "illiterate" go under your car and fix it without consulting any book, you smile and pay him. He had just solved a problem and therefore he is informed. The same applies to that interior decorator, house painters, shoemakers, refuse managers, electricians and other technical, vocational and entrepreneur laborers. Today, in the information age, there are many ways to learn and develop the skills you need to become a successful entrepreneur. Homeschooling, technical, vocational and entrepreneur education may be some worthwhile options for many, especially if you have the desire to learn at your own pace, or if you have kids that are ambitious and independent thinkers. In fact, many of the most successful people in history were successful without finishing school. College qualification cannot guarantee wealth or fulfillment. Wealth is attracted by solving societal problems and meeting societal needs. If you are a graduate and cannot contribute positively to your society, you are a nonentity. DO NOT GIVE UP - Best Motivational Video

Want the Key to Manifesting Success Faster?

MANIFESTING SUCCESS No matter what you want to achieve in life, how you want things to turn out or what you want to have in your life - manifesting success all starts within your mind. This means, that your mind - and more specifically, your mind set - is responsible for how successful you'll be in any chosen career or pursuit, how others see you, your health, your physical strength your accomplishments and even your overall life happiness. Any transformation you want to create in your life starts with your conscious decisions, your commitment to take action and your determination to keep going when the going gets tough to manifest what you want into reality. This means that all success manifestation must come from your belief that IT WILL HAPPEN and this belief starts within your mind to begin with. It is then that your conviction, your planning and your determination about your belief ensures you're able to accomplish it. Take a look at some of the most successful people in the world. One thing they almost always have in common is an absolutely unwavering commitment and determination to what they want to achieve. Take Arnold Schwarzenegger for instance - reportedly, he was so determined to become a champion bodybuilder that he would even break in to the gym on the days when it was closed in order to train. He once even snick out of army barracks during his conscription in order to attend a competition! People who are truly committed to what they want to achieve will be more than happy to wake up at 5 am every morning in order to get started on their dream, to work on their project, to research, to learn or to train. They never tire and they never simply give up. This same commitment and passion is what helps you to focus on the background work of building a business or to see opportunities that you otherwise might have missed. By simply having the conviction and belief that you will be successful is the magic that helps manifest the right people to you and to pave your pathway to success. When you are truly driven and when you have complete faith in yourself, you exude passion and confidence - which inspires others and convinces them to believe in you and invest in you. This how manifesting success works. Most people refer to it as "the law of attraction" and in a nutshell, it means that for others to believe in you, you first need to believe in yourself. We are all energy so when you believe in yourself, you are transmitting that positive energetic belief into the Universe and others who resonate with what you want will pick up on it and be drawn to you to offer opportunities to help you succeed. These opportunities may show up as customers, coaches, people who are selling what you need, buying what you want to sell or helpers who are ready to support you. The key to manifestation of success is keeping your eyes open and taking advantage of the opportunities that you manifest. Manifest Success Faster! Get MAD Before You Kick the Bucket

Kicking the bucket" means death. Hence, the idiomatic expression "bucket list" is a list of things a person wants to do before passing away. All of us would kick our own buckets whether we like it or not at any given time. Janne Teller, a Danish essayist said "from the moment we are born, we begin to die." The timer is on. The clock is ticking. If you are in your forties you probably have about 13,000 days to live, on the average based on life's expectancy. If you are in your fifties, you have about 10,000 days to live. If you were in your seventies, you have about 3,000 days left. That is not much, is it? Life is short. It is a cliché. Life is short. Man has always been on a quest for the elixir of life. Many movements and gurus advocate longevity either in the form of lifestyle, exercise, diet, or vitamins. No wonder, they have become multi-billion dollar businesses. Fitness centers populated the major cities in the world. Different diet fads emerged and each one claims to add more years. Those are clear indications that most people want to live longer. Jack Lalanne who was considered to be the godfather of modern fitness passed away at the ripe age of 96. Before he died, he expressed his frustrations because he wanted more. Aubrey de Grey, the long-bearded Harvard professor is a big proponent of longevity project. He theorizes that a man can reach 150 years or more by replacing parts of the body. For him, human body can be likened to a fixer-upper house. There is completely nothing wrong about advocacy for longevity. We all want to live longer. But we should understand that humans are not meant to live forever in this world. We are designed to procreate and are given enough time to prepare the next generation. A mother would carry the child in her womb for about nine months, give birth, and take care of the child. When the child has his own family, his parents' health would begin to decline and then his parents eventually pass on. It is just the same from generation to generation. It is the cycle of life. That is our design. It is in our DNA. Hence, although there is nothing wrong about longevity, what is more important is legacy. When we talk of legacy, it does not necessarily mean money or property that we bequeath our children. There is more in legacy than just currency. The truth is, according to Dave Ramsey, a financial guru, leaving large amount of money to untrained children is not for their best interest. How can we leave a legacy? Martin Luther King, Jr., said it is not how long you lived but how well you do it. Seneca, a first century Stoic philosopher said that life is long enough; we just do not know how to use it. We should therefore know how to use life. In Leo Tolstoy's novel, The Death of Ivan Ilyich, a dying man on his deathbed asked a poignant question: What if my life has all been wrong? Look at the life of Jesus, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Jr., Mother Teresa, Steve Jobs, and many more to mention. Not one of them became a centenarian. Nevertheless, they all lived a life worth living because they made a difference. We do not have to be as famous as them, but we can also make a difference in our own little world. Death is inevitable, but making a difference in the world, in our community, in our family, and in our environment is a choice we can make. Get MAD (Make a Difference) before you kick the bucket. Leave a legacy. We are not meant to live forever in this world. Instead we are designed to procreate and prepare the next generation. Hence, legacy is more important than longevity. Let us all make a difference in the world, in our community, and in our environment for the sake of the generations to come. The Price of Hard Work

Everybody wants to be famous, but nobody wants to do the task without realizing that the price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. The road to success is not easy to navigate, but with drive and passion, it's possible. It is the real key to success. Keep your eyes on your goal and keep taking the next step towards achieving it. If you aren't sure which way to do something, do it both ways and see which works better. Enjoy your sweat because it doesn't guarantee success, but without it you don't have a chance. I do not believe in excuses. I believe that it is the primary solution to life's problems. We all naturally want to become successful. It opens opportunities and shows the world that you are serious about being one of those peculiar human beings who use their talents at optimum level and do their very best. However, the moment we believe that success is determined by an a deep-seated level of ability as opposed to resilience, we will be vulnerable in the face of adversity. Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them. Most of the time you will fail, but you will also occasionally succeed. Those occasional successes make it worthwhile. In a lot of ways, success is much harder than we thought it would be.You'd get there and then everything would be happily ever after. But, it's almost harder once you're successful because you've got to maintain it. Writing is work. It takes a lot of contemplation, concentration, and sweat. People are charmed with the idea that somehow writing is easy and appears by benefit of some mystical external force. In reality, to be a writer, you have to sit down and write. It's work, and often it's hard work. I would rather have one article a day of this sort; and these ten or twenty lines might readily represent a whole day's hard work in the way of concentrated, intense thinking and revision rather than sit and do nothing productive. It's shown and proved that working hard pays off. So,build your goals, achieve them and replace them with new goals. Even if there were moments when we were disappointed and frustrated. This talks about how our hardwork pays off. Difficult but possible. BELIEVE IN THE DREAM - Best Motivational Video Speeches Compilation 2020

Message From the Universe: Living Your Ultimate Dream

"If anyone could do it, figure things out, smooth them over, face their fears, find the truth, come back and totally blast off, as necessary for you to live as you now dream of living - YOU ARE THAT PERSON. What a coincidence, The Universe" Never underestimate your capabilities. You are definitely able to accomplish all your goals and add more on top of them. If you look at each task individually, you can tackle them one by one and get a step closer to reaching your destination. There is no mystery. There is NO secret. Books have been written to enlighten people about what they can do and how to get to where you want to be. Many of these concepts are repeated over and over again about the Law of Attraction and Thoughts become things. The Universe could be molded based on how you create your own thoughts. Your thoughts control how you observe a certain phenomenon and how you interpret the results of this observation. You can decide if you want to focus on the negative side of things, or better, the positive. More you think in the wrong way, more you are bending to go against your wishes and expectations. Everything you do is based on your thoughts. Focus on how you can bend this law and looking into maximizing the positive effect so it can benefit you in long term. The law of Attraction is not immediate. It takes time to come into effect. You can think negative thoughts today but the results of this negativity will not appear within the next 10 minutes. However, if you write down in a diary all your negative thoughts by adding a date (I.e, February 16th 2015) to these thoughts, you can start keeping track of its effect in your life and determine how long it will take for this negativity to come into realization. Now, you may just come back to me and say: "Well, Dr. Dan, why not try it the other way around and think positive, write down these positive thoughts with a date on it and see how long it takes to come into realization". Bravo, you understood my reverse psychology approach to this law. You came to understand that this law will work both way, so might as well make it work in your advantage, right? So get to work, eliminate these negative thoughts from your mind and start tracking the length of time it will take for these positive thoughts and actions to come into your life and changing it for the better. 10 Good Reasons Why Small Enterprises (Small Businesses) Fail

You'll agree with me that there are so many small businesses which have contributed a lot to the growth of economy. They have created employment opportunities for many families although some remain to be small throughout their operational life.

It is obvious that those who are starting new ventures have objectives to achieve. And to mention each business has got its own objectives to achieve such as maximization of profits and sales, minimize costs, maintain a certain level of production and labor force etc.

Failing of a business opportunity is what an entrepreneur won't want to happen. Inasmuch as we agree with the fact that there are firms which have succeeded, we should also accept the fact that a good number of them have failed even before two years lapse after they commence business.

If aspiring entrepreneurs addressed the reasons why small businesses fail, then they will not fall to be victims of the same causes of failure. This is because they'll be in a position to identify these causes and fix them before it's too late.

Now you may be asking yourself as to why some businesses remain to be small throughout their operational life despite some of them making profits or are capable of growing.

4 Reasons Why Small Business Remain to be Small

1.) The owners of these businesses prefer not to expand their businesses. Some sole proprietors do not want to be bothered with the challenges of managing a big business. They don't want to employ people to assist them in running their businesses but instead they prefer to be assisted by their family members.

2.) The nature of the product/service the business is involved in doesn't allow expansion. There are people offering products/services which make it difficult for their business to grow.

3.) Lack of capital for expansion. There are small businesses which are viable and have the potential of growing but they lack enough capital. Such businesses have the challenge of securing funds from financial institutions. Lack of capital plays a negative role in hindering the growth of small businesses.

4.) Very low demand. If the business has a very low demand for its product or service, then at the end of the fiscal financial year/trading period the business won't realize profits, and if it does, it's very low, therefore the chances of it expanding are very minimal. Just to mention, realization of inadequate profits as a result of very low demand hinders the growth of small businesses.

However, there must be a starting point and as such, every business starts as a small entity and it gradually grows to a medium entity and eventually it becomes a big business entity which is either a private limited company or a public limited company. Note that a partnership business can also grow to become a big business.

Reasons Why Small Businesses Fail

1.) Wrong Reasons For Commencing Business: People who start a business for wrong reasons haven't succeeded. Just because another person is making high profits in a certain line of business doesn't mean that you will also make the same amounts of profits as him/her if you start the same business.

2.) Poor Business Management: When there is poor management of the business it becomes difficult for such a business to succeed in its operations. Finance, marketing, purchasing and selling, planning, hiring and managing employees is what most new business owners fail to execute effectively thus making their small businesses to fail.

3.) Lack of Commitment: Starting a business requires someone who is committed in ensuring that it succeeds. Neglecting the business will cause the business to fail. Many small businesses have failed because the owners didn't take their time in monitoring performance and in marketing them. Some business owners leave their businesses to be managed on their behalf by incompetent people who lack book keeping knowledge and the knowledge of managing a business.

4.) Lack of Finances: Small businesses have failed because of lack of adequate finances. Some of the owners underestimated the amount of capital required and as a result of this underestimation some ended up running out of operating capital thus ending the operation of their businesses.

There are those who have no reserves which has led them not to be able to take care of loses and disasters when they occur thus making them to quit business.

5.) Over-Expansion of the Business: This has led to failure of many small businesses. This happens when there is borrowing of too much money beyond what the business requires so as to expand the business. Moving to markets that are not profitable is also over expansion of the small businesses.

An ideal expansion is the one that is driven by customers due to their high demand for the products and services which leads to high sales thus the business experiences good cash flow.

6.) Location: The place where the business is located is critical in determining its success. Small businesses have failed because of them being located in areas that are not ideal for business. They should be located in areas that are accessible, populated with people and has demand for their products and services.

7.) Personal Use of Business Money: This is the biggest challenge facing many small business owners. They withdraw money meant to operate their businesses to meet their personal wants and needs. If they continue to withdraw money from their businesses without returning it, their businesses will eventually run out of finances therefore forcing them to end the operations of their businesses.

8.) Lack of Delegation: Small enterprises have failed due to owners not delegating some of the duties to their employees. They think that if they delegate them, then their employees will not perform these duties as they would personally perform them. When such owners fall sick or are away from their businesses, then the operations of some tasks will be paralyzed till they resume to work.

9.) Not Diversifying: Small enterprises which have only one product/service to offer are prone to fail easily compared to those that have a variety of products/services.

10.) Procrastination and Poor Time Management: Postponements of tasks which the small business owners feel to be unpleasant to perform has made the small businesses to fail. An example of such tasks include following debtors to pay their debts (debt collection).

Time management remains to be a challenge for many people who own small businesses. If important tasks like delivering products to customers, purchasing stock etc are not handled in the appropriate time, then the business will lose its customers.

The above are not all the reasons why small businesses fail, there are more reasons.

Steve Harvey Rags to Riches Testimony | You Have Not Because You Ask Not ask and it shall be given

Excelling At Work

Everyone of us would like to be a good employee and want to excel at our job. It is not simply a matter of being good at what we do but also involve issues like being professional, our attitude and teamwork. Putting the extra effort, taking steps to shine in your job have to be punctual, put in a full day of work, keep personal calls to a minimum, and courteous, dressing appropriately for the job. People like working with positive attitude co-workers. Negative attitudes will drag everyone around them down. Working as a team is a requisite where ever we work. Unless you run your own business, we are expected to be a member of the team. Working in a team means we have to work with many different personalities trying to perform the best. There are many opportunities for us to make others happy, be it our co-worker, customer, mentor, manager, supervisor. We just take the time to make someone matter this day. It is as simple as saying good morning, listening instead of talking, returning your phone calls. Just be thoughtful instead of rude in our interactions. Do something more for yourself, your employer, or customer than is required and be willing to help without being asked. Maybe we are uncomfortable at first. Learn to handle constructive criticism to improve our performance at work. Some boss may want everything done their way but some are just feedback to us to let us perform better at work. Gossips and rumors can downgrade our standing with our boss and colleagues. No matter where we work, we will encounter people plotting against each other for position and power. We have no choice but to work within the system. Try to avoid crossing a person with power. Best not to be identify with a power group over the other because if the leader left that group, we will lose the support. Instead prove our skills and abilities within the workplace. Perform our job to the best we can by assisting the people in power. Provide good working relationships but guard against our ambitions and protecting ourselves from possible attacks. When we are new to the job or learning a new task, always ask questions even repeating the same ones until we fully understand the answer than making mistakes which is not possible of recovering. Try to understand your boss' expectations and the organisation's mission to enable us to better understand our role and the value of the job we provide. Taking the opportunities to learn new skills. People do not like complainer but problem-solver. Helping the new worker learn the ropes will put us in good light with the boss. It is important for us to strive to do our best at work not to impress the boss but having a sense of accomplishing a job well done. https://johnnyngch69.wixsite.com/ngcheokheong Article Source: https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Johnny_Ng/2267133 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/9608259

Jim Rohn - FOCUS ON ONE THING (Jim Rohn Motivation)

People DON'T Resist Change - That They Do Is A MYTH

That people resist change is a myth. Don't believe me - if people resisted change would they ever - get married, retire, take a new job, move to a new state, go someplace new on vacation, have kids, buy a new house - got it - people don't resist change it's a myth that we have been taught for years by society, parents, schools etc. What people resist is - losing control - so if they feel like a change will cause them to lose control they will resist the change but if they feel or believe that the change will not cause them to lose control - they won't resists the change - it's that simple. And what do people want to maintain control of - their health, happiness, security and safety. So, let me explain with a couple of quick examples. If you are a manager, leader and experience resistance from employees, vendors or customers due to the changes it's simple - you have not done an effective job of showing them or convincing them that the changes they will experience will not cause them to lose control of an important area of their life, career or business. Let's say your organization is going through a merger or acquisition and people are wondering even afraid - will I lose my job? Will my income get cut? Will my hours or responsibilities change? If the answers to any of these questions is yes - you can expect resistance, because your actions are causing them to lose control of something that is important to them. How about - you have accepted a new job in a different state and must relocate and your kids are having hissy fits because you are moving. Guess what - they feel like their lives will never be the same because of this move so they will fight these changes tooth and nail. I know, growing up I was in 18 schools in five states in 12 years. Trust me - I understand the concept of change and losing control. One more - You are surprising your spouse with a special four-day weekend getaway package to a new part of the country or even country he or she has never been before - their reaction - mixed - one of excitement and concern - what will it be like, what will the people be like, is it safe etc. So, what's the answer - if you want to reduce or even eliminate common causes to change show people how the changes will not cause them to lose control of important areas or aspects of their lives. Want more resistance - keep shoving change down their throats with little concern for how it impacts them. How to Find Yourself Again - Best Motivational Video 2020

How to Pursue a Lifelong Legacy

The awful fact is; we can't rewind the hand of time and have alternative choices but the good news are; everyday, we can decide to do things that will impact lives long after we are gone. A legacy is brought by making a choice to pursue what's important in life. Many of us think is about the medals and the records we set while alive, but we are wrong. The foundation of a legacy is formed by the people we transformed rather than the achievements we have acquired. Legacy is the continued positive influences over people after we are gone; awards and possessions don't have the power to do that. We might have achieved a lot materially but if we are to build yourself a legacy for ourselves. We need to stop pursuing our own success and start touching lives. Let's Start today... Worth Over Success Been successful in life is a good thing, but it isn't enough. Running after success alone will not ultimately satisfy us. Most of the middle age is successful, but they don't feel fulfilled with their lives. Many feel they lack the accomplishment they deserve, and want to do something significant that will make more difference in their lives. I have noticed that the current generation is more passionate about carving out a name for itself; they have known it's not all about getting jobs and thriving in personal success. We need to focus on things that matter; we need to help people by equipping and developing them to realize their full potential. Ultimately, this will yield satisfaction and fulfillment within you. Influence Over Rewards It's honorable to be awarded and celebrated for your accomplishments. Trouble is, with an award you are the only recipient; its significance ends with you. Influence, its benefit does not end with us, but starts with us. Our effort to develop and transform lives is the sure way to influence them, you will remain in their souls and your influence will be passed over other people for a long time. This is the kind of legacy that outdoes statues and streets that have been named after you. Impact Over Earnings It's easy and normal to make earnings our main objective in life. It's excusable because it puts food on the table and pays the bills. Consider that money will never be enough and wealth does not leave us fully satisfied after all. It's just a tool we use to keep our lives running smooth. Impact brings satisfaction, earnings bring emptiness. As I mentioned earlier, touching and developing people is everything. Investing in someone's life adds more value to them, for they will eventually turn around and touch more people in their circles. When we focus on developing those around us rather than our personal success, we will find fulfillment and satisfaction within ourselves. We need to plant seeds of change in the lives of others. We may not live long enough to see them thrive, but the fulfillment that we created a legacy will always stay within us. "WE HAVE MADE AT LEAST A START IN DISCOVERING THE MEANING IN HUMAN LIFE WHEN WE PLANT SHADE TREES UNDER WHICH WE KNOW FULL WELL WE WILL NEVER SIT." Elton true blood. We all need a Legacy, it can't be bought but pursued by making a decision to carry people with you in your walk to the hall of fame, wealth and success. Transform their lives and they will transform others too; they will sing your name even after you are long gone. 10 Habits of Successful People

Aside from the random element of luck, much of what makes some people successful involves the cultivating of certain habits. Learning what these habits are and how to employ them in your own life is worthwhile.

To that end, here are 10 of the most often-cited habits of successful people.

1. Organization

One of the most frequently mentioned habits of those who are successful in life is organization. Such organization includes planning as well as setting priorities and goals.

Joel Brown, the founder of Addicted2Success.com, calls for a prioritized “To-Do List” every evening before going to bed to prepare for the next day.1 2

According to Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, Sunday is an important day for organization “getting ready for the rest of the week.” 3

2. Relaxation

It’s interesting to note that relaxing – by meditating or simply avoiding distractions – is another of the most-often mentioned habits of successful people.

Of course, relaxation comes more easily to those who are organized, so perhaps for some, it is more of a natural byproduct than a conscious decision.

It may also be that the act of “taking a breath” is the successful person’s way of preparing for the effort yet to come. In fact, one of the first steps toward achieving a meditative or relaxed state is to concentrate on your own breathing for three to five minutes.

3. Taking Action

Third on the list of habits of successful people is the inevitable “action” habit. It is important to organize, to plan, and to set priorities, but without action, a plan is nothing more than potential.

Successful people act – quickly and often. In addition, although it may sound counterintuitive, according to James Clear, they act (start, anyway) before they feel ready.4 While others come up with reasons not to act, successful people take that all-important first step – even if it seems outlandish.

4. Personal Care

Personal care with regard to diet, exercise, and hygiene comes next on the list of habits of those who are successful.

For some, personal care involves a complex regimen and a highly disciplined lifestyle. For others, not so much. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Motors, put it succinctly when asked what daily habit has had the largest positive impact on his life. In a, Musk said simply, “Showering.” 5

5. Positive Attitude

According to many successful people, having a positive attitude is not just a result of being successful – it’s one of the root causes of success.

Joel Brown refers to gratitude and positive self-talk as priorities in the lives of the ultra-successful. Moreover, Brown says, it’s not enough to express gratitude and a positive attitude. You must also remind yourself why you are grateful in order to achieve a deeper effect. 2

6. Networking

Successful people know the value of exchanging ideas with others through networking. They also know the value of collaboration and teamwork – all of which are likely when you network.

Successful people know the importance of surrounding themselves with other successful people, according to author Thomas Corley. Corley says 79% of wealthy people spend at least five hours a month networking.6

7. Frugality

Frugal is not the same as stingy. Frugality is a habit of being thrifty, with money and resources. It is also a habit of being economical. Learning to be economical comes through avoiding waste, which automatically results in efficiency.

Successful people avoid overspending. Instead, they comparison-shop and negotiate. The result is financial success through the simple act of saving more money than they spend.

8. Rising Early

The more time one can devote to being successful, the more likely success will result. Successful people are accustomed to rising early, and that habit appears repeatedly among those who do well in life.

While the “Early Riser’s Club” has a huge membership among successful people, a few notable members include Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group, Disney CEO Robert Iger and former Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer.7 8 9

9. Sharing

Whether through donating to charity or the sharing of ideas, successful people have a habit of giving. They know the value of sharing and most believe their success should result in something more than the accumulation of wealth for themselves.

Some of the most well-known successful philanthropists include Bill and Melinda Gates, Oprah Winfrey and Mark Zuckerberg.

Lack of wealth does not need to be a factor when it comes to sharing. Volunteering in your community or at a local school does not cost anything but could provide help where it is needed most, as KeepInspiring.Me points out.

10. Reading

It's important to note that successful people read. While they also read for pleasure, most use their reading habit as a means to gain knowledge or insight.

For anyone who needs inspiration about the value and importance of reading, look no further than the example of billionaire author, J.K. Rowling, who says she read “anything” as a child. She advises, “Read as much as you possibly can. Nothing will help you as much as reading.”

The Bottom Line

Most people have habits – some are positive, some are not. Successful people tend to have more of the kinds of habits that contribute to their success.

The good news, for those who wish to be successful, is that cultivating positive habits takes no more effort than developing bad ones.

Some of the best habits of successful people involve only conscious effort, like getting up early every day. Others, such as becoming organized, may take a little more skill and practice but ultimately result in the most desired outcome of all – success.
